About Carl Mr. Lauderman is a multi-talented individual with extensive music experience in performance, education, and business. As an entrepreneur, reputable pianist, talented vocalist, and a versatile organist, Mr. Lauderman aims at collaborating with local, national, and international artists as working to further the impact of music education.
Carl Lauderman has lived in Miami, Florida all his life. Born to a Cub an father and a Venezuelan mother, Carl was interested in music since he was eight years old. He learned to sing, play the piano, and play the clarinet throughout elementary, middle, and high school. In 2000, he was selected as finalist of the Miami Herald’s Silver Knight Awards in the category of music. He continued his musical studies more intensively at Florida International University School of Music where he studied piano with Dr. Miguel Salvador and Dr. Jose Lopez. He also studied voice with Ada De Luque who herself was taught by Luciano Pavarotti. During his years at FIU, Carl was a finalist at FIU’s Annual Concerto Competition, a finalist at the Society of Arts and Letters Piano Competition in Boca Raton, and a winner of the Miami Music Club’s Music Scholarship, He earned his Bachelor’s of Music in Music Performance and Music Education in 2005. Carl has worked in marketing and administration at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and SoBe Music Institute. Carl also worked as Graduate Assistant to Dr. David Dolata. In 2008, Carl earned his Master of Music degree in Performing Arts Management. Currently, Carl runs Forte Music and Arts Academy a music school that teaches piano, voice, guitar, violin, ukulele, and electric bass lessons to preschoolers, kids, teens, adults, and seniors. He also sings Tenor for Romanza Lyric Opera. |
